I am a versatile Electronic and Design Engineer with a background in electronics hardware and embedded systems, product design, test & development - with an emphasis on audio, automotive and anything related to control systems and data capture.

I hold an MSc, BEng, HNC and ONC, in addition to a varied industry background.

I am the founder of Briarsfield Systems

I was involved with the revival of Austin Motor Company, holding the role of lead R&D design engineer from 2022-2025. Recently I have stepped back but maintain a background consultant role.

I'm currently lead R&D design engineer at Austin Motor Company, helping resurrect the iconic British car brand with a range of bespoke electric sports cars.

In recent years I've also worked at the University of Essex - as an R&D and systems engineer, researcher, and various other guises.

In my spare time I design audio equipment, restore all manner of electronic stuff, do some graphic design and photography and restore vintage cars.
